General Purpose: Operate the Marriott Walker Evaporator and Drier processes ensuring DFA defined procedures and practices are followed in a safe, quality, and efficient manner. Job Duties and Responsibilities: * Responsible for the proper operation of the Marriott Walker Evaporator system and associated equipment; includes but not limited to setup, production, and CIP (Clean-in-Place) * Responsible for the proper operation of the Marriott Walker Drier systems; includes but not limited to setup, production, and CIP (Clean-in-Place) * Conduct bulk cream and condense milk load-outs as defined per the schedule * Understand fully product flow from the milk silos to packaging department * Know the type of product, the silo source, and all handling procedures involved each time operating any processing equipment or process * Perform quality control checks and adjustment of equipment as defined within the SOP's, or more frequently to maintain product quality within DFA defined specifications * Promptly and accurately perform all necessary entries into the SAP system * Complete and maintain the following programs: Pre-Operational Checklists, Post-Operational/CIP Checklists, and Master Sanitation Schedules * Submit accurate and complete documentation to the shift team leader. Accurately note deviations * Perform limited maintenance as defined per the MSS or as required; including but not limited to inspection, cleaning, and entering maintenance work requests into the SAP system * Assist in the training and development of new operators * Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly at designated intervals * Ensure all recording charts are properly documented according to company and regulatory regulations * Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area throughout the facility and common areas * Anticipate problems, implement solutions, and look for continuous improvementrocess improvement opportunities * Safeguard and protect all company assets and proprietary information * Assume responsibility for the attainment of plant goals and objectives. Make decisions in a timely manner * Maintain cooperative working relationships and communications with employees from all other departments and peers * Dedicate effort to safety as we expect every employee to leave work in the same condition as they arrive * Follow all Dairy Farmers of America procedures and practices: Safety, Quality, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) * Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements * Exhibit the values and ethics of Dairy Farmers of America through honesty, discretion, and sound judgment * Adhere to all DFA Quality, Safety and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity * Attend required training, including but not limited to Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. Other duties may be assigned as required Minimum Requirements: Education and Experience * High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) * 1 year of manufacturing experience * Certification and/or License * Forklift certification * May be required to obtain and maintain other certifications and/or licenses for continued employment Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems, specifically SAP * Skill in proficient computer usage * Skill in written and oral communication * Able to use and understand calculations, production rates and fluid inventories * Able to prepare and comprehend evaporator logs and master sanitation schedule * Able t
