PET is lightweight, shatterproof, recloseable, resealable, reusable and infinitely recyclable*.With approximately 6,000 people across about 50 manufacturing operations in 11 countries and an annual revenue of US$2.9 Billion, ARP provides rigid packaging solutions to the beverage, pharmaceutical, food, and home and personal care segments.Learn more about the many benefits of PET bottles*with existing technologies including chemical recyclingPosition Overview:The Market Segment Quality Manager (MSQM) is a leadership role for the group providing Quality Systems and Quality Management support to the Specialty Containers (SC) Home and Personal Care (HPC) Packaging business. Additionally, the MSQM may support other SC segments - Health Care, Food, and Spirits as needed. Scope of the business currently includes a total of 4 production facilities in the U.S. and Canada, and multiple production cells in other U.S. ARP facilities operating very diverse plastics packaging production processes encompassing PET preform injection molding including multi-layer co-injection molding, closure injection molding, container injection blow molding, compression blow forming, container injection stretch-blow molding, rotary stretch-blow molding, extrusion blow molding, multi-layer co-extrusion blow molding, and continuous rotary co-extrusion blow molding operations. Materials processed include PET, HDPE, LDPE, PP, and specialty polymers and additives such as COC, COP, barriers, desiccants, and regulated colorants.Key accountabilities:Ownership of the internal Product Safety oriented Quality Management Systems execution and auditing role for this business sector, as developed and agreed with the executive management team.Proactive Commercial activities support. Provides key contact and communications to SC - HPC customers of Amcor Rigid Packaging Quality Systems and Management Philosophy, presenting that capacity to customers as a core competency with energy, intellectual leadership, and strong credibility.Reactive Commercial Activities support. Provides key contact and communications to SC - HPC customers during tactical incidents, relating facts, organizing and coordinating investigations, establishing corrective actions, securing funding as required, and successfully closing incidents in such a way as to engender customer confidence and achieve permanent, continuous improvement across all Amcor facilities.Operational Activities support. Drive proactive, long term, systemic improvements in Quality Systems and Production Process Controls across the production facilities and their diverse production platf
