divAcara is looking for Quality Temp for our client located in Ann Arbor, MI/divulliThe Quality Temp examines products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications./liliConducts visual and physical inspections/tests; approves or rejects products./liliReturns products for re-work; confirms re-work was successfully completed./liliDuring the inspection process, the Quality Temp may engage in preassembly-preparatory work such as cleaning of the housing, removal of excess adhesives, degreasing nuts and screws, and the greasing of O-rings and seal rings./liliLooks for any abnormalities such as dents, missing parts, and the general integrity of the product; check for minor cosmetic issues such as scratches, nicks and switch operations./liliVisually inspects the holographic image, glass components and housing by looking at the surface quality./liliCompletes Housing inspection to assure product meets specifications and customer requirements./liliMay need cleaning of smudges, removal of dust or debris and minor re-work./liliDocuments inspection results by completing paper reports and log sheets; summarizing re-work and waste./liliWhen defects are found the Quality Temp notifies Quality Employees./liliPack, label and scan throughout in-process production./liliFollows instructions, responds to Quality directions; takes responsibility for own actions; keeps commitments; completes tasks on time./liliDemonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve; applies feedback to improve performance; monitors own work to assure quality./liliDemonstrates ethical and professional behaviour in accordance with company values./liliPerforms job duties in a manner that maintains compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations, policies and procedures./liliAll other duties as assigned./li/uldivRequired Skills / Qualifications:/divulliHigh school diploma or GED./liliMinimum 1 year of quality experience in a manufacturing environment./li/uldivPreferred Skills / Qualifications:/divulliMinimum of 2-years quality experience in a manufacturing environment./liliAbility to work on a team and collaborate with others/liliAbility to communicate clearly and effectively/liliAbility to have punctual and consistent attendance/liliFlexibility to work to long hours of work when necessary./li/uldivAdditional description:/divulliUpon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to background check and a drug screen./liliThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job./liliReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions./liliWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly needed to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear./liliThe employee is frequently needed to walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel./liliThe employee is occasionally needed to stand.
