The primary responsibilities of this role, Sr. Manager of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) are to collaborate with the leadership and other key roles within Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Life Cycle Management and Operations to lead and facilitate the S&OP process for Terumo Cardiovascular. This includes demand planning across multiple sites and product lines, holding pre-S&OP reviews with each applicable site leading to the preparation of the monthly S&OP deck using cross functional input. This position also manages the calendar of events that lead up to the actual meetings and post meeting actions.
In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
Ability to influence organizational executives to commit adequate resources to support the S&OP process and partner with executives and key functional resources to maintain a high level of resource engagement, ensuring effective process execution.
Leads the Terumo Cardiovascular Global S&OP processes and support process owners within Supply Chain.
Responsible for developing the S&OP deck in conjunction with multiple stakeholders and publishing and presenting it to senior management on a monthly basis.
Responsible for pre-S&OP and S&OP meeting facilitation, collaboration and action items follow up.
Interacts with Global Sales branches and manufacturing plants to identify business issues to define risks/ opportunities for slow move and no move inventory.
Engage with Plant Schedulers to confirm feasibility of meeting forecasts or to identify gaps.
Responsible for inventory write off execution process.
Requires the creation and maintenance of SKU forecasting and publishing of Supply Chain forecast.
Run and review data reports and KPIs to be shared with internal and external stakeholders.
Perform other duties as assigned.
- Requires a four-year college degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Statistics, Operations, or other quantitative business discipline with 10 years of work experience in Supply Chain with at least 3 years of those years managing S&OP processes. Intermediate computer software skills, i.e. Microsoft Office. Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry preferred. SAP IBP experience preferred.
