FEV North America, Inc. is expanding and we are seeking a Chassis Dynamometer Operator for our Test Facility. The right candidate will be involved with vehicle level benchmarking, instrumented vehicle testing and vehicle level engine calibration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibilities will include fabricating, setting-up and conducting tests on advanced chassis dynamometer system for certification and development projects
  • Responsible for calibration
  • Preventive maintenance of FEV equipment
  • Maintaining quality assurance procedures Qualifications and skills:

  • Systems knowledge: PC based applications including Microsoft Office/ADAPT/Lab View

  • Mechanical or Electrical experience required
  • Fabrication experience a plus
  • Emissions experience a plus
  • Combustion experience a plus
  • Engine testing experience a plus
  • Chassis dynamometer experience
  • Horiba testing equipment experience a plus
  • Enthusiastic attitude and a desire to succeed are essential
  • Effective organizational skills and team working ability desired
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Education:

  • Associates Degree, Trade School or Technical School
