Join us!/spanbJob Posting Title/bControls Technician (2nd or 3rd shift positions)bJob Description Summary/bA Controls Tech will diagnose, troubleshoot and maintain electrical equipment. Assist with project related design, installation, and commissioning of controls systems.bJob Description/bbESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES /binclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.-Assist with troubleshooting and repair of down equipment.-Ability to navigate ladder logic. Allen Bradley and Siemens.-Ability to work with 24 DC to 480 volts AC.-Ability to use test equipment such as a multi-meter, megger, phase rotation meter, and oscilloscope.-Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.-Ability and knowledge to troubleshoot and repair electrical problems of CNC mills, lathes, shapers and forge press controls-Familiarity with Fanuc or Nachi robots for recovery, point adjustment and program change.-Some project related design, installation, and commissioning.-Assist with general parts research as necessary.-Analyzes and resolves machine and conveyor problems.-Establishes or adjusts work processes to meet production schedules.-Resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.-Work with Engineering on any process and 10 foot circle improvements.font class="bold"/fontbRequired Skills and Education/bHigh School Diploma or general education degree (GED)bAbout American Axle Manufacturing/biFor over 20 years, customers around the world have entrusted AAM to design, engineer, validate and manufacture driveline and metal forming technologies for automotive, commercial and industrial markets.
