CNC MACHINIST The ideal candidate will create machine parts and tools using precision computer equipment. CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Machinists set up, adjust, and maintain all equipment used in their daily job activities. Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances (GDT). CNC machinists must have a knowledge of mathematics, mechanics, production, processing, and design Siemen Control System. They need to be coordinated, think critically, and have an understanding of equipment operation and control. Analytical, mechanical, and technical skills are essential.
