Trillium Staffing Solutions Warehouse Worker in Bay City, Michigan

Trillium Staffing is seeking Screeners and Packagers for a meat/jerky plant in Frankenmuth! $13/hour SCHEDULES (sometimes all 3 shifts are not available):1st, 7am – 3:30pm2nd, 3:30pm – 12am3rd, 10:30pm – 6:30amMonday – Friday, plus most Saturdays overtime is needed The employee may be assigned between screening, packaging & washroom duties, based on business needs. Screener Duties: Preparing the products to get sent into the smokehouses for cooking Remove processed meat from tanks and place individual slices of meat flat onto screens, to not overlap in a single layer. Follow USDA standards and procedures that are in place to ensure that there is no contamination of the product and to ensure that all products that leave the facility are safe and wholesome for all consumers. Take the necessary steps to ensure that quality control is achieved. From visually inspecting each product as it is being screened to looking for foreign materials that may be on the products, to double-checking process to ensure the procedures are followed to the Screening Standards. Must follow and operate each day according to the GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). Screening of all Products to the exact steps and guidelines that are set in place by Management of the client. Lead, guide and train any new employees in performing related work duties. Packaging Specialist Duties: Following USDA standards and procedures that are in place to ensure that there is no contamination of the product and to ensure that all products that leave the facility are safe and healthy for all customers. Quality control of all products that are produced. Each Individual employee must take the necessary steps to ensure that quality control is being achieved through eye-checking each product, as it is being packaged to look for any foreign materials that may be on the products, to double-checking co-workers for accurate weights and ensure procedures are being followed to the standards set by the client. Must follow and operate each day according to the GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure that there is no contamination of product and to ensure that all products are safe and healthy when leaving the facility. Packaging of all products to the exact steps and guidelines that are in place. Work together in a team environment. Employees must be able to work with each other and finish tasks as a team. The entire room or department is not done until responsibilities are complete, and areas are cleaned and sanitized. Weighing of the products must be within the range determined by Management to ensure that all federal and state guidelines are satisfied. Use machinery and various equipment daily. Washroom Duties Working in the washroom cleaning screens, buckets, bins and trucks (carts) while following all USDA and Michigan Brand regulations and procedures Inside the washroom it may be warm or hot on some days to some individuals. Minimum of 8 hours in a workday, some days do require 8 hours plus to finish cleaning Qualifications Must pass pre-employment screenings
