As a member of the maintenance department, the Maintenance Electrician is responsible for electrical troubleshooting and repairs of all plant equipment and production machinery. Must be self motivated, have the ability to trouble shoot, diagnose, and resolve issues in a production Casting and Machining environment. Candidate will also be expected to perform Preventative/predictive maintenance and conform to all OSHA and DMI Montague standards.

·Disassembly, repair and reassembly of all plant and production machinery

·Perform, analyze, and interpret various types of test equipment

  • Work with production personnel to develop solutions to quality issues, as well as

  • Ability to read electrical drawings

  • Complete assigned preventative maintenance tasks

  • Enter completed work orders in computer system

  • Attend seminars as required to enhance job knowledge
