DROUGHT's specialty is producing premium organic fruit and vegetable juice for retail and wholesale distribution. Food Production Associates are responsible for safely and efficiently producing the highest quality products in the juice industry. Through a collaborative work environment, Production Associates make sure our retail and wholesale outlets are stocked with a variety of juicing options. Job Type: Part-time, 20+ weekly Hourly Pay: From $12 - $13 What we are looking for: 1. Food prep or ready-to-eat food processing experience 2. Food Safety Program compliance experience preferred 3. Ability to take and follow directions, particularly concerning regulatory needs and expectations 4. Willingness to move about throughout your shift 5. Strong communication skills 6. Collaborative and efficient work ethic 7. Ability to adjust to changing pace of production as established by management 8. Ability to work on your feet for entirety of shift 9. Ability to lift boxes weighing as much as 50 lbs. 10. Ability to work in a cold temperature-controlled environment (approx. 37 degrees F) 11. Ability to work in a wet environment (proper footwear onsite) Shift Duties Include: 1. Complying with strict FDA, state and local Food Safety Program guidelines and prerequisites 2. Food prep: sorting, weighing, trimming produce 3. Washing produce 4. Bottling: pouring juice into DROUGHT bottles, capping 5. Juicing: feeding produce into juicers, collecting pressed juice 6.
