SUMMARY span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;"Accomplishes quality departmentrsquo;s objectives by supervising and coordinating the activities and work processes of assigned quality inspector staff. span style="color: black;"Direct quality assurance inspector assignments designed to ensure quality of products are consistent with established standards. Ensure organizationrsquo;s quality standards are adhered to and the Business Management System is followed./span/spanESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESspan style="font-family: Arial,sans-serif;"Supervises, coordinates, provides leadership to, and reviews the work of assigned Quality Inspectors.Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet quality requirements in the production schedules.Evaluates and makes recommendations regarding methods and procedures in assigned area.Plans day-to-day departmental operations, assigns people, sets schedules, approves time and attendance to include overtime and controls department costs./spanspan style="line-height: normal;"span style="font-family: Calibri,sans-serif;"span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;"span style="color: black;"Review all data obtained during all quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures./span/span/span/spanspan style="font-family: Arial,sans-serif;"span style="color: black;"Develop new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities.Prepare and present technical and program information to the management team.Maintain a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards.Ensure compliance with ISO standards.Empower Inspectors with stop work authority for quality breaches.Ensure operational personnel comply with established and applicable policies and procedures.Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and implements corrective actions as required./span/spanspan style="line-height: normal;"span style="font-family: Times,serif;"span style="font-weight: bold;"span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;"span style="font-weight: normal;"Prepare appropriate documentation for shipment of product.Generate reports identifying accept/reject rates.Interface with customers and suppliers, where required, regarding quality issues.
