Aerotek Field Service Technician in CANTON, Michigan
A major machine supplier for the Big 3 is looking to add a service technician to their team. This company is responsible for the design, build, install and inspection of their presses (stamping machines) and the service team is responsible for servicing all OEM parts for machines across North America. This position (field service technician) would be responsible for traveling to customer sites to install and repair machines. Experience with presses is NOT required, but experience with hydraulics is a must have. The company pays for all travel expenses, gives you a company vehicle, and more. There is a per diem for travel per day on top of the hourly rate. The service team has 80+ employees in North America an around 20-25 in Canton, MI. They service all types of presses as well as rebuilds and modernizations of current presses. This position travels 100% of the time with the majority of it being to local customers here in Metro Detroit. Their main customers are Ford, GM and Chrysler but they've also acquired Tesla which will be a big customer for them. Candidates should be expected to eventually travel to Ohio, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Texas and California when necessary.

MINIMUM 1 YEAR OF FIELD SERVICE EXPERIENCE
Mechanically inclined (Hydraulics & Pneumatics)
