JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: middot; Sanding of cabs in primer state as well as aluminum state middot; Washing of cabs parts before and after primer middot; Masking of cabs to create several tones per vehicle middot; Learn and retain skills and practices needed to complete duties in assigned area middot; Read and follow detailed operator instructions, installation drawings, blueprints, etcetera, as required by a particular area middot; Understand, and be able to articulate, the production flow of an assigned product line or area middot; Self-check work and inspect prior processes middot; Use basic hand, electric, cordless, and pneumatic tools, as required middot; Meet production goals middot; Maintain a clean and safe work area middot; Initiate process improvements middot; Support 5S in work area middot; Communicate with manufacturing and other cross-functional teams (engineering, materials, purchasing, sales, etcetera) to resolve issues middot; Work in close proximity with customer, as needed middot; Solve complex problems with minimal assistance QUALIFICATIONS: middot; Excellent attendance middot; Positive attitude middot; Strong and consistent attention to detail middot; Self-motivated with the ability to stay on task middot; Team oriented middot; Basic computer skills are required middot; No critical shortcomings on last performance review middot; Body and paint experience preferred middot; Working knowledge of application of fillers, putties, and primers middot; Able to: o Tolerate very high heat temperatures o Be exposed to high dust
