As a Sanitation Operations Manager you will direct the Facilities Management for a unit including General Office Management Support and General Facilities Management, and Building Maintenance.
You will be responsible for the activities of the sanitation personnel to ensure a clean and sanitary work place within a food manufacturing environment.
You will be responsible for budgeting labor, supplies, equipment and related services/materials required for cost-effective operations.
Schedule and distribute work assignments on a daily basis.
Perform weekly inspections, document findings and identify improvements to be made.
Practice and comply with all company and customer policies and procedures, including safety and work rules.
Perform weekly supply inventory and become familiar with and implement the budget.
Provides monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports to the DM and customer as part of the service agreement.
Represents Aramark Facility Services on a daily basis to the customer's employees and key decision makers.
Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree (and/or requisite industry & management experience) as well as technical knowledge of maintenance equipment, cleaning procedures, and POM activities.
Must have supervisory experience and a technical background (knowledge of mechanical/electrical equipment).
The ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services is essential to success in this role.
Experience directing skilled, semi-skilled and non-skilled trade personnel in a union and/or non-union environment is required.
The ability to oversee capital projects, maintenance plans, and funding requests is required. Strong financial analysis and interpretation skills and computer skills are necessary.
P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable.
Experience with food production and sanitation a must.
