If you are looking for a company where your input is always welcome, your initiative is rewarded and where your contributions will shape the company's future - that's JJE!!ELIGIBLE FOR A $500 SIGNING BONUS AFTER 90 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENTJob Summary:em/emThe Manufacturing Technician will produce quality parts to meet Customer(s) and JJENA standards in an automotive assembly operation.emSupervisory Responsibilities:/emulliNone/li/ulemDuties/Responsibilities:/emulliAttend Daily Shift Meeting;/liliFollow standard work: role of the Manufacturing Technician is to follow and apply the best standards to build part in order to ensure safety, quality, and productivity./liliConsistently practice safe work behaviors, including wearing PPE, attending training, reporting unsafe acts or conditions, performing self-audits, etc./liliPerform quality checks on parts, in accordance with standard work and/or special instructions form Quality Alerts, etc./liliParticipate in projects and/or work team focused on identifying and/or implementing improvements using Lean Mfg method (Kaizen, 5S, etc.) or Problem-Solving techniques (5-Why, 8D, process mapping, etc.)./liliFollow company work rules, policies, and procedures/liliInstall and maintain 5S standards/liliCarry out Process to correct Quality and Production Standards within cycle time/liliEscalate issues to Team Leader/ Shift Supervisor as necessary/liliMonitor and maintain equipment to ensure it is always in good working condition./liliParticipate in tool changes/changeover on the line when required./liliParticipate in system (EMS) procedures and work instructions./liliParticipate in rotation of positions/duties if/when needed to support cross-training and/or backfill for absenteeism/liliAssist with any additional tasks as assigned by the company./li/ulRequired Skills/Abilities:ulliExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail/liliMust have basic math written communication skills/liliEfficient time management skills/liliMust be able to constructive and productively resolve conflicts or disagreements with others/liliMust be able to independently begin and manage assignments, minimizing oversight needed from Supervisor/liliSelf-motivated and task orientated/liliStrong team player/liliMust be able to work assigned shift and work overtime based on production needed, including evenings, weekends, holidays, etc./li/ulEducation and Experience:ulliHigh School Diploma or GED/equivalent required/liliPrior experience in manufacturing work environment required, preferably in fast-paced automotive industry./liliFamiliarity with concepts of Lean Manufacturing highly desired, e.g. 5S, one-piece flow, etc./li/ullt
