Alliance Inspection Management Quality Control Coordinator in Farmington Hills, Michigan
Position Title: Quality Control Coordinator
Reports to: National Quality Control & Safety Manager
Location: Farmington Hills, MI (temporarily remote due to pandemic)
This position works closely with the National Quality Control & Safety Manager to ensure the coordination of daily work within the QCMS. Responsible for supporting quality control and safety through coordination of the daily issues and tasks. Responsible for ensuring all customer issues, both internal and external, are accounted for, entered into the system, assigned appropriately with the correct information and status levels. Ensures the team member working priority level issues are appropriately notified. Access critical situations and alert manager.
The candidate will have the opportunity to interact with multiple levels of the AiM organization. The role requires a detailed oriented individual that thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys multi-tasking. Essential Job Functions:
Coordinate daily issues received via email, phone or through other methods.
Acknowledge the problems of the customer promptly; Listen to the customer patiently, and ensure all information is recorded, entered into QCMS, assigned appropriately, timely and with analyst alerted to high level concerns or immediate assistance matters.
Data entry and log upkeep to include a variety of logs including tech review, audits, arbitrations. Quality reviews, etc.
Monitor emails and communicate with both internal and external customers via email and over the phone.
Coordination of emailing communication alerts and other publications.
Communicate progress, raise risks or issues to Manager.
Beginning to Recognize and anticipate potential problems with customers or systems before they happen. Continually look for improvement to processes both within the team and outside the team.
Regular and consistent attendance and availability.
Follows the lead of AiM Management and completes work assigned on schedule.
Other duties may be assigned.
Job Knowledge and Skill:
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize day-to-day responsibilities; Detail oriented, highly focused and very organized; Ability to maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm; Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships.
1-2 years’ experience in an operations, administration or Customer service setting.
Education, Licenses, Certificates, Registrations:
Some college or work experience.
Working knowledge of power point, word processor, spreadsheet, other PC applications, ability to adapt to new technology as it becomes available.
Ability to excel in a team environment required. Must be able to successfully interface with internal and external customers at all levels. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills required with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to source, disseminate and properly apply secondary research.
