Job Description:Peckham Inc. - Environmental Services Technician (In-house)
Wage: $9.65 per hour
Location: 3080 S. Linden Rd. Flint, MI 48507
Hours: 11:00AM - 4:30PM M-F
Duties include general cleaning of restrooms, public areas, classrooms, office and conference room set-ups. Onsite Training is required before being placed at a site.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In accordance with frequencies specified in the site contract, the Technician may be required to perform the following duties:
Stocking storage closets
Stocking a restroom cart
Routine cleaning of restrooms
Routine cleaning of occupied offices
Periodic cleaning of vents
Maintain grounds, including snow removal
Routine vacuuming of carpeting and matting
Routine dust and wet mopping of tile areas
Periodic dusting of all horizontal ledges
Assist in special periodic work projects as needed under supervision of a Periodic Team Member, Lead Worker or Environmental Services Supervisor
Arrange for maintenance of equipment - As needed
Produce quality work in an ever-changing environment
Practice security and safety at building sites
Utilize a team work approach for all projects
Promote Peckham’s vision, values and services to all customers and stakeholders
Assist in maintaining organization wide quality standards
Other related duties may be assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
This Environmental Services position requires excellent interpersonal abilities to coordinate work flow with building management as well as other team members. Be a self-starter, able to use common sense in resolving issues that may arise. Must pass and maintain background checks.
