style="text-align: left;"Job Title: Copier Technician style="text-align: left;"Department: Service style="text-align: left;"Reports To: Service Managers style="text-align: left;"Position Is: Nonexempt uRequirements:/u liCustomer service orientation/li liElectronic Training/li liExcellent driving record/li liPositive attitude/li liProfessionalism/li liProactive sense of urgency to take initiative/li liAbility to learn new tasks quickly/li liExcellent interpersonal skills/li /ul uEducation Experience:/u liHigh School diploma/li liMechanical and electronics training/li /ul uPurpose:/u The purpose of the Copier Technician is to repair and maintain the customer's equipment in a positive and prompt manner that promotes a positive image of MT Business Technologies. uEssential Responsibilities:/u liResponsible for the cleaning and maintenance of tools and supplies./li liMaintain proper inventory of parts through accurate record-keeping in personal log and work order./li liRecord completed work and parts used on the work order and on the machine's recording./li liTroubleshoot and fix copier/fax./li liReceive proper authorization from customers for more expensive repairs./li liExplain repairs completed to customers and how the customer can prevent it from occurring./li liAttend technician meetings./li liEfficient time management in assigned territory and with customers/li liComplete manufacturer training courses for certification: both on line and classroom/li liLearn and adhere to Prorsquo;s Elite process and benchmarks/li liContinual communication with Svc Mgr/dispatch during all service calls/li liLearn and use technology available to follow call processes: Remote-Tech, helpdesk, KFS/li liAid in set-ups as required./li /ul uOther Responsibilities:/u liKeep current with new technology through Ricoh/Gestetner classes, informative pamphlets, etc./li /ul liOther duties as requested by Management./li liWilling to train/li /ul Hourly
