Machine Operator

Start As Soon As Possible with Guarantee Pay Every Friday!

Randstad Staffing is hiring for a manufacturing company in the Grand Rapids area. We have career opportunities as Machine Operators, Shipping/Receiving, and Production Operators on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift! This is an entry level position that includes PAID TRAINING!

Responsibilities

• Operation of a robotic welding machine or a press

• Work as a team in a fast pace environment

• Frequently loads, unloads, lifts, moves, and/or positions products and materials weighing up to 40 pounds

• Properly packs parts in correct storage container per packaging instructions to meet customer requirementsMonitors material usage and floor stock to ensure accurate inventory in order to keep production moving

• Responsible for meeting production expectations and ensuring a 100% quality rating

• Keep and maintain basic housekeeping standards

• Other tasks as necessary based on demand

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• standing for 10 hours at one time

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
