POSITION: Process TechnicianREPORTS TO: Manufacturing/Process EngineerSUMMARY:Reponsible for the technical aspect of the plasticc injection and rubber molding processes. Someone that has a knowledge of plastics and would be able to learn the process for rubber molding.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:ulliMaintain Injection Molding Machinery/liliStart up of Injection Molding Machinery/liliAdjust and Maintain quality parts/liliMonitor process and cycle times/liliRobotic and End of arm experience/liliAccurate Completion of paperwork, repairorders, pmrsquo;s, change logs, startup/liliRobot experience ndash; six axis a plus/liliMold setting experience/li/ulREQUIREMENTS:QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must understand decoupled molding and be versed in working in a manufacturing environment.EDUCATION /or EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or equivalent; and at least1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in plastic injection and/or rubber molding.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:knowledge of basic mathCOMPUTER SKILLS:knowledge of Microsoft OfficeREASONING ABILITY:Must be able to communicate with supervision and production operators about possible production issues.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:Must be able to obtain a hi-lo and over head crane liscense.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
