The successful candidate will also implement company policies and coach/develop the production staffand#160;to ensureand#160;performance goals are achieved consistently. The Productionand#160;Manager drives a zero defects culture in regards to safety, quality and productivity.and#160;Leading others is an important part of this role and direct responsibility includes 4 production shift supervisors, 1 warehouse manager, and 1 process engineer.and#160;and#160;Description:and#160;and#160;This individual willand#160;have a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to:and#160;ulliEnsure a high level of employee engagement./liliDevelop a cross-trained workforce at all levels in line with organizational development goals./liliHire, train, and provide feedback to employees./liliSafely deliver products on time, in full with the highest quality at the lowest cost possible while providing a great place to work./liliDirect or coordinate production, processing and distribution of the site./liliReview production schedules to make decisions concerning staffing requirements, job assignments while considering budgetary limitations and time constraints./liliDevelop, maintain and ensure compliance with leader standard work programs (5S, instruction sheets, etc.)/liliDevelop, implement or interact with production tracking or quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, or other operational reports, to detect production problems./liliReview operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems./liliPrepare and maintain production reports or personnel records./liliDevelop budgets or approve expenditures for supplies, materials, or human resources, ensuring that materials, labor, or equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets./liliInitiate or coordinate inventory or cost control programs./liliCoordinate or recommend procedures for facility or equipmen
