Quality matters at Oliver and thatrsquo;s why we are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, have effective communication skills, can follow written and verbal instructions, enjoy working as a team and above all have a strong attention to detail.Experienced Machine Setup Technician/OperatorSUMMARYSets up and operates pouching equipment to assemble pouch packaging products for disposable medical device packaging markets by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Set up and operate pouch forming equipment by following established work procedures and instructions.Read and understand converting customer specifications.Complete daily and weekly production and labor reporting paperwork.Perform all necessary housekeeping duties, as defined by team leader, to maintain safe and organized work area.Deliver presentations to individuals or groups on pouch products or pouch making process.Conductsarticipates in 5S and safety audits, implements corrective actions and inspects product.The ability to predictably and regularly attend work and to be punctual.The ability to work up to 12 hours per day, up to six days per week.QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
