AKASOL Quality Assurance Technician in Hazel Park, Michigan
Support all production processes regarding quality assurance. Assure release and maintenance of production travelers and inspection reports. Conduct and monitor End of Line testing of final products. Assist in the maintenance of calibrated devices and measuring equipment. Perform inspection audits across multiple stages of production. Completion and maintenance of Layered Process Audits (LPA) as required. Complete incoming/outgoing inspection of products as required. Assist in the identification of production and quality improvements. Identify, quarantine, and communicate component defects and quality issues expeditiously. Assist in addressing customer concerns and completion of corrective action reports. Participate in MRB (Material Review Board). QUALIFICATIONS: 2 or more years of experience working in quality assurance preferably within the automotive environment. Some technical training and/or college education highly preferred. Ability to read and understand technical drawings(blueprints), control plans, and work instructions. Experience using measuring equipment and test devices. Working knowledge of MS-Office software. Mechanical aptitude preferred. Capable of making decisions regarding product quality and part disposition. Knowledge of the relevant industry standards such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 highly desirable. SAP experience preferred. Ability to work independently and with others with minimal supervision. Must be reliable, ready to learn, highly motivated, and flexible. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT:Must be able to frequently lift up to 30 lbs. Ability to frequently bend, reach or twist.
