GHSP is seeking a Director of Quality and Central Services to lead the Quality function across multiple sites primarily in the U.S. Based in GHSP's new world headquarters in Holland, Michigan, this position is a key business partner in executing the company's growth strategy.
Provide Leadership and guidance for the execution and success of GHSP's Global Business Operating System (BOS) throughout the product development and commercial lifecycle. Ensure that people, processes, systems and standards exist to efficiently deliver GHSP's brand promise to all global customers.
BOS System Administration Implement, enhance, and manage BOS system by setting company standards, expectations, processes, and procedures. Ensure BOS systems are in compliance as new information, issues, customer requirements, and regulatory requirements to meet national and international standards are identified. Also, provide timely reports to Governance Committee on the performance of the BOS system.
Continually Drive the Improvement of Our Quality of Work Through appropriate use of APQP tools and techniques (i.e. PFD, FMEA, Control Plans, DOE, Six Sigma, Effective Root Cause Analysis, Error Proofing, Lean Manufacturing, industry benchmarking, PPAP and associations).
Coordinate with Functional Department Managers and GHSP's Senior Leadership Deploy an annual assessment of our internal quality systems knowledge and skills while developing improvement plans to close gaps found from this assessment.
Quality Improvement Activities Initiates and implements quality improvement activities as appropriate (Kaizen, 6 Sigma, Lean, 5S) to improve company performance.
Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities:
- Bachelor's Degree. MBA a plus.
- 10+ years of progressive and broad Quality Management experience including 4+ years in a senior level Quality Management position.
- Multi-site leadership experience preferred
- Experience working in a high performance and results driven culture
- Experience working in a high growth and transformational change environment.
- Exceptional skills in interpersonal communication, influencing, negotiating, coaching, problem solving
