Under minimal supervision, performs and/or manages physician partnering related work of a generally complex nature aimed at improving operations and performance within Henry Ford Cancer Institute (HFCI) with increasing responsibility. Budgets and allocates resources within scope of responsibility. Prepares reports and recommendations for management and coordinates implementation whenever possible. Supervises tasks of support staff relative to assigned physician partnering projects.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works independently to manage complex physician partnering related work involving coordination of multiple participants and teams aimed at improving operating systems and functions within HFCI.
Maintains a high level of responsibility for completion of tasks within the system with strategic implications.
Conducts reviews of regions and new geographies on physician partnering criteria.
Prepares physician partnering plans including scheduling, costs, personnel matters and other operational concerns.
Collaborates with the Director of the HFCI Physician Partnering and regional administrators to establish physician targets.
Supports through data analysis a variety of alignment models and coordinates tracking of the impact of our HFCI alignment strategies.
Works effectively with Referring Physicians Office (RPO) and physician liaison team members to provide meaningful data to recommend and track incentive performance.
Develops and refine physician partnering scope, objectives, and work plan in collaboration with the director and key stakeholders.
Provides overall operational coordination and tracking of all aspects of the physician partnering processes for Henry Ford Cancer Institute across all of the regions (individual physician tracking and collective opportunities).
Designs and implement a scheduling system that facilitates regional administrativemedical dyads timely annual review of the partnering physicians in the respective regions.
Works in tandem with the HFCI System Screening Manager to further the accomplishment of HFCI market specific and system specific goals and objectives.
Supports the attestation process including facilitating and/or leading meetings and teams, tracking physician performance and opportunities and updating the database.
Monitors ongoing performance of all network physicians individually and in the aggregate.
Recommends and provide input for budget preparation.
Tracks and trend opportunities identified by partnering physicians and continuous improvement in program quality.
Completes ongoing reports for the physician liaison’s HFCI physician objectives and incentive targets.
Partners with the System Screening Manager in the outreach and systemization of the HEDIS reports and physician alignment with screening objectives.
Supplies periodic physician partnering updates to administration
Prepares physician partnering reports, written and verbal presentations, conclusions, and recommendations.
Facilitates physician partnering objectives through his/her knowledge and expertise in software tools and analytics.
Bachelor degree is required. MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required. Previous experience in leading quality improvement initiatives is highly desirable.
Must be proficient on the applicable software systems’ and how to access and retrieve reports from EPIC and other applications.
Must be proficient on HFHS Decision Support Systems and multiple data bases.
