Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive daily execution at the Site, to insure schedule attainment that results in the cost-effective On Time Delivery of high-quality products to all customers, globally.

  • Build a customer-focused Site Leadership Team to lead all functions in achieving or exceeding Site performance targets and driving growth.

  • Provide strategic leadership for the Site – insuring that an appropriate Vision is communicated, and that goals are properly cascaded at the Site Level and for all functional areas, in accordance with Corporate, Group, and Divisional objectives.

  • Continuously demonstrate Role Model Leadership to include promoting Epredia Values, and providing exemplary Talent Management and Development approaches that advance Epredia as a most admired employer.

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to optimize employee relations, execute pro-active communications, and support key HR business practices, including performance management and development practices as well as compensation administration.

  • Insure EHS Compliance and Best Practices, to achieve a safe working environment for all Site employees.

  • Protect Customers, Patients, and the Company by driving adherence to Quality and Regulatory requirements, GMP and documented standard operating procedures (SOP’s).

  • Build Customer Allegiance by insuring that Commercial Operations is continuously supported through exemplary cross-functional communication and high levels of product availability, globally. Drive fast remediation of critical customer needs, as they occur.

  • Champion customer-focused Continuous Improvement by practicing “LEAN Leadership” and collaborating with Division and Site resources to eliminate Waste and insure achievement of Productivity Goals. Inspire the development of a sound PPI culture.

  • Support Product Vitality by collaborating with the R&D Function to insure cross-functional support of New Product Development initiatives, and by leading the achievement of on-time product launches.

  • Collaborate with Finance to lead effective Budgeting practices, and to insure timely reporting and Site-wide adherence to Finance Policies.

  • Protect the Company’s assets through appropriate Security provisions and policy compliance.​

    Required education & experience

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree – preferably in an Engineering discipline or Business Administration, supported by broad experience with Chemical products.

  • Significant experience of progressive leadership in manufacturing organizations that produce Medical Devices and Consumable in the Chemical products space. Experience with Medical Device production or in a similarly regulated industry is preferred.

  • A minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in a global, matrix-managed organization.

  • Proven ability to manage a diverse workforce, including all aspects of Talent Management and Development. Must be able to quickly build customer-focused teamwork and manage change, as well as be adept at inter-facing with colleagues, globally to accomplish Low Cost Region Sourcing or Production Transfers.

  • Must be adept at “LEAN Leadership” with broad training in Continuous Improvement methodologies. Must have demonstrated strategic leadership with the ability to communicate a Vision, develop and cascade goals and use Strategy Deployment, Key Performance Indicators, and similar tools to drive productivity, motivate team performance, and hold accountabilities.

  • Broad business acumen, supported by a record of success in supporting Commercial Operations and inter-acting with Channel Partners to drive growth.

    Key skills & abilities:

  • Superior communications skills – to enable pro-active communication at all levels within the Group, Division, and Site, as required to optimize business results and develop a customer-focused culture.

  • Proven Strategic Leadership skills – to include the ability to develop and communicate a vision, and to insure cascading of Corporate, Group, and Division Goals at the Site level, and across all functional activities at the Site.

  • Team-building expertise, sufficient to lead cross-functional collaboration amongst both direct and indirect reports for the purpose of optimizing the Site culture and business results, and insuring effective communication across all areas of the Business.

  • Strong Business Acumen, sufficient to understand business opportunities across multiple functions of the Business, and to insure competence with Financial Reports and Budgeting.

  • Thorough knowledge and experience with a broad scope of Continuous Improvement methodologies, including LEAN Leadership, the application of Gemba, and the ability to support by coaching and encouraging interaction and dialogue.

  • Change management skills sufficient to lead through a broad array of business challenges.

  • Project Management skills sufficient to analyze feasibility, mitigate risk, and lead the execution of complex projects.

  • The ability to inter-act cross-culturally as required to execute Low Cost Region Sourcing or transfer production.

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite of business tools.

  • Ability to travel, as required – typically ranging from 10% up to periodic levels of 25%.
