Epredia Label Control Specialist - 2nd Shift in Kalamazoo, Michigan

Maintain control of printed materials including labels, instructions for use, etc. Coordinate and perform assigned tasks to meet the goals and objectives of the department and the company.

  • Perform label control operations to complete label requests.

  • Identify and report non-conformance material with the appropriate means.

  • Maintain material/label standards.

  • Maintain Inventory Control of labels.

  • Maintain the 5S program in the label control area.

  • Participate in Practical Process Improvement teams.

  • Provide support to meet department and company objectives.

  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures (safety, regulatory, etc.).

  • Perform set-up, basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment, workstation, and work area. Printer set-up and basic cleaning and maintenance (call in repair jobs, maintenance work orders).

  • Maintain inventory of necessary supplies.

Key Responsibilities• Applies Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) principles in all areas of responsibility• Provide support to meet department and company objectives• Participate in Practical Process Improvement (PPI), 5S, and other continuous improvement and lean projects• Comply with safety and regulatory regulations, policies, and procedureso Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as requiredo Exercise proper lifting, bending, and twisting techniqueso Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work areao Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner• Ability to wear respiratory protection, as needed• Ability to clearly document required information for all appropriate paperwork• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as documented and trained• Specific job related training required
