Role Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:Perform all manual packaging duties as required by operating unitOperate selected packaging equipmentAssist or perform setup of selected equipment with guidance from leadershipPerform line clearances and cleaningPerform necessary process checks including but not limited to package checks, hourly audits, etc.Perform equipment and facility compliance assessmentsMonitors packaging output, checks product quality and makes adjustment to ensure equipment is operating efficientlyPerforms all necessary SAP/PEPS entries.Conducts label lot changeoversTroubleshoot selected equipmentVerifies that the line is clean and cleared prior to starting the production orderResponsible for accuracy of batch related documentationAble to gown and work in all unclassified areas.Demonstrates floor leadership abilitiesRole Responsibilities:Work in a safe manner and report all potential safety issues to leadership in a timely mannerPerform all tasks in strict compliance with operating procedures, best practices and regulatory requirementsDependable - Follows unit / area / plant requirements and guidelinesWilling to assist other production units in order to meet unit / site goalsMaintain training at or above 95%Perform a variety of miscellaneous tasks in support of the Kalamazoo Site objectivesCommunication and Leadership ExpectationsConsistently displays Own-It behaviors in accordance with Pfizer Core Competencies: Seizes accountability; grows self; change agile; self-awareness; commits to one Pfizer; peer relationships.Train and mentor new colleagues and TCW'sProvide feedback to leadership regarding issues and errors with GMP documentation.Responsible for the direction of colleagues and TCW's while leading the work center / production lineQualifications:•Education: High school diploma / general education degree (GED) or Associates Degree•Previous experience as an Gelfoam Operator or Line Coordinator is desired.•Basic Mathematical Skills are required.•Colleague must have an acceptable level of reasoning ability.PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to lift up to 20 pounds. May be required to stand for long periods of time.
