Aerotek Quality Operations Engineering Specialist in Kalamazoo, Michigan
The Sterile Inspection unit is responsible for both manual and automated inspection activities. The candidate may be responsible for inspecting injectable product on Sterile Inspection lines, performing quality level checks, required to set-up, operate, change-over, maintain, and execute basic troubleshooting activities. The candidate is responsible for ensuring that all safety guidelines and practices are followed. All work is performed in strict compliance with GMP manufacturing standards and all regulatory and safety requirements. There are essentially five areas that our team will work in and will move to around each shift. They will likely not do all of them in one day but maybe 3 each day. Position 1: Loading trays of vials that contain the vaccine. This will be repetitive lifting of no more than 20 lbs at a time. Position 2: Unloading the trays that have made it through without reject Position 3: Line Captain. Will oversee the product going through line. Will assist with machine tear down in between runs and will inspect machine and do any PM that is necessary. Position 4: Visually Inspect any rejected vials for defect according to provided template Position 5: Reporting on runs and defects .
