Job Description

We have two Slitter (machine) Operator positions available on 2nd shift, working 2:00pm - 10:30pm M-F. Starting pay is $13.32/hour (includes $0.75/hour shift premium). The primary responsibility of this position is to setup and operate multi-blade slitting machines to cut and wind large rolls of ink-coated polypropylene or polyester film into smaller rolls as determined by customer specification. Operators are also responsible for quality testing, material handling, data entry and packing duties.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Basic computer/keyboarding experience preferred including data entry and look-ups.

  • Ability to work overtime/flexible shift

  • Physical requirements include constant standing/walking, use of upper extremities to handle/manipulate, and ability to visually identify product quality defects; frequent twisting/turning, and lift/carry/reach with ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

  • Prior applicable manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
