Job Introduction

Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction (internal/external) by exceeding quality standards. Establish and maintain systems and procedures to adhere to TS16949 standards. Utilize problem solving techniques to maintain world-class quality levels and contribute to the continual reduction of quality costs.

Major Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support part dimensional layouts for receiving inspection, PPAP & Engineering Samples

  • Write and maintain CMM programs for current and new products.

  • Perform contamination lab testing.

  • Provide Gage Calibration Programming

  • Provide dimensional analysis and problem solving support for new and current programs, as required.

  • Perform and analyze incoming raw materials as well as in process testing as described in work instructions and at the frequency required by the process control plans.

  • Maintain quality lab equipment to ensure clean, organized, and updated consistent with general housekeeping guidelines.

  • Document all activities as required.

  • Any additional responsibility deemed necessary by management.

  • Advise Department Manager of those situations that may pose a significant risk to the program, product assurance, facilities and employee safety or customer satisfaction results.

  • Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance relating to product, process, and systems.

  • Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process, or system.

  • Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through appropriate channels and verify implementation.

  • Control further processing and delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency is corrected.

Knowledge and Education

CMM experience. Strong Math skills Strong GD & T Knowledge Ability to use Standard Measuring Equipment Minimum of 2 years experience in metrology. Minimum of 2 year experience in part layout using coordinate measuring machines. Demonstrate competency in metrology, blueprint reading, and statistical techniques. Able to maintain confidentiality on products, services and processes. Computer skills
