H & H Tool, Inc. is an IATF 16949:2016 certified manufacturer of precision components for the automotive located in Lapeer, MI. We pride ourselves on the level of service, quality, and timing we provide to all sectors of the manufacturing community.
We offer over 39 years of precision machining experience using Vertical and Horizontal machining centers and Hydromat; Rotary Transfer machines. We also provide extensive engineering knowledge and state of the art quality monitoring. We specialize in high volume production, we make and ship approx. 3.5 million parts a month.
Operate, or tend CNC Mills machines that produce metal products, or components.
Job responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments 2. Mount, align, and secure work pieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments3. Stop machines to remove finished work pieces4. Efficiently run production of automotive components5. Maintain the highest level of quality by constant monitoring and measuring the features of the parts produced6. Maintaining the expected level of housekeeping
Preferred Requirements but, willing to train right candidate.
• Prefer some training in vocational schools, related on-the-job experience, or an associate’s degree. Minimum GED / High School Diploma• Experience using calipers and micrometers preferred• Ability to read blue prints an asset• Knowledge of GD&T an asset• Basic computer data entry experience required• Excellent attendance including punctuality• Must be available to work weekend overtime• Physical Requirements include:• Standing – The ability to stand at a workstation for 12 hour shifts• Reaching – The ability to reach at or above shoulder level• Lifting – The ability to lift and carry up to 35 lb pan of parts less than 10 feet• Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Arm-• Hand Steadiness — The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position. • Hearing Sensitivity, Problem Sensitivity, Reaction Time.
Language Ability, Math Ability, Reasoning Ability, Computer Skills are all included in the qualifications.
Physical Demands: The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Shift Hours: We operate two shifts, 6 days a week. The employee must be available for a 5 day work week, which may include every other Saturday.
