Join us!Technician ControlsAssist maintenance technicians in trouble shooting industrial control systems.Work with engineering to implement automated solutions to production issues.Train machine operators and maintenance technicians on automated control systems.Coordinate with outside vendors and internal purchasing to order and maintain spare parts for equipment and facilities.Support off shift maintenance needs.Work closely with controls engineer to develop training programs for maintenance technicians.Assist in installing and commissioning new equipment.•Must have Rockwell PLC knowledge: SLC and ControlLogix preferred•Cognex and Microscan vision systems•FANUC robot programming experience•PanelView programming experience•FANUC CNC troubleshooting•Ability to read and interpret electrical and fluid power schematics•Strong communication and computer skills•Industrial networking systems (DH+ and Ethernet) a plus•3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment as a technical specialist.•High School Diploma or HSE is required.•Bachelor degree preferred.About American Axle ManufacturingFor over 20 years, customers around the world have entrusted AAM to design, engineer, validate and manufacture driveline, metal forming, powertrain, and casting technologies for automotive, commercial and industrial markets.
