As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will:
Set-up and run CNC lathes and/or mills
Indicate diameters and faces on setup pieces and low-volume production parts
Conduct in-process inspection
Produce parts as per manufacturing schedule, part specification, and quality standards
Measure parts using micrometers and calipers
Complete and organize required paperwork (work orders, work instructions, tags, etc.)
Keep parts organized and identified at all times
Follow all quality procedures
Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area
To be considered as a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will need:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum five years of CNC machining experience running low volume parts on CNC lathes and/or CNC machining centers
Experience with Fanuc controls
Ability to produce parts with minimum direction
Capable of inspecting own work
Possess own tools
Available to work overtime when necessary
Excellent communication skills
