You will lead the operations of a large cross functional team within one of the business units of the plant, including all team members and leaders in quality, engineering, production planning, and continuous improvement, to support internal and external customers. Our top candidate will have strong proven experience supervising manufacturing operations within a large plant.Our recruiting team is ready to act immediately. We pride ourselves on moving through the process quickly, and you can be sure of transparency and prompt communication.ESSENTIAL DUTIESulliChampion the development of the people, processes, and capabilities within the assigned Focused Factory within the plant./liliResponsible for meeting or exceeding safety, quality, delivery, and cost KPI's./liliAdvance continuous improvement activities using Lean tools./liliCreate a culture of zero in the Focused Factory - zero accidents, zero defects, zero later orders and zero waste./liliEnsure products are manufactured on time and according to customer quality requirements to ensure the customer delivery schedule is met./liliPlans and manages delivery requirements, inventory levels, labor productivity and asset utilization./liliPrepare and report out regularly in Focused Factory and plant wide communication meetings./liliCoordinate with new product development to launch programs into production./liliSet Focused Factory AOP goals, review and maintain a pipeline of continuous improvement projects such that the AOP targets are met or exceeded./li/ul/div/div/divdivdivdiv/div/div/divRequired SkillsQUALIFICATIONSulliBachelor's degree in an Engineering or Business discipline./liliAt least 3 years of experience supervising manufacturing operations in a high volume environment./liliAt least 5 years of experience carrying out CI tasks within similar environment./liliAutomotive industry experience highly preferred./li/ul div /divBR/Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled
