We are searching for an Electrician to help maintain a large power supply environment to meet our business needs now, and in the future in our Mason Cup facility.
As our Electrician you will be providing support to the physical infrastructure for the entire facility! It’s a position where responsibility includes; troubleshooting, diagnosing, electrical schematics, supporting our manufacturing environment and exposure to evolving technology. We need an experienced Electrician to supply electrical support required to keep all departments running at a high level of efficiency, always striving for 100% efficiency.

Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements
Follow practices and processes intended to provide safe products that comply with appropriate laws and regulations, meet the company quality standards
Follow and commit to safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
Utilize electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature and pressure gauges
Perform basic analog and digital circuit design by utilizing microprocessor hardware and software configurations
Use Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) including basic and ladder logic to read/write basic wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints in order to diagnosis problems
Maintain and utilize maintenance systems for work orders, breakdown reporting and track machine modifications.
Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment
Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformer, motors, and light fixtures. Replaces damages or broken components
Assemble component electrical parts per specifications and bench testing before installation
Read and thoroughly understand electrical schematics and apply that understanding to real time systems
Update schematic drawings to incorporate changes in equipment as needed
Plans layout of wiring and install conduit, wiring and ancillary electrical equipment
Installs power supply wiring and conduit and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Participate in small process improvement teams
Frequently ascend and descend ladders, scaffolding, and other power equipment
Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in required areas
May be required to work additional hours including weekends, holidays, and/or overtime
Constant exposure to extreme heat, loud noise, dirt, dust, odors, and fumes
Core Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Three (3) years of experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment or machinery, or comparable experience with trade school or training
Ability to read/write wiring diagrams, schematics and blueprints and analytical diagnosis of problems
Ability to program Programmable Logic Controllers using basic and ladder logic
Familiar with National Electrical Code (NEC)
Knowledge of electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature and pressure gauges
Knowledge of industrial controls and instrumentation
Must have an understanding of microprocessor hardware and software configurations and be able to perform basic analog and digital circuit design
Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Electronics Technology
Apprenticeship training or equivalent electrical trade school
