We are looking for a WELDER ndash; 2supND/sup SHIFT to join our production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled, detail-oriented, and team-minded welder who would like to contribute to the companyrsquo;s growth. Position Overview: The welder position produces a finished product and/or part by using raw materials, welding machines and engineering supplied blue prints to meet the production goals in accordance with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities (below is a partial list, see job description for full listing): liClamping, holding, tack-welding, heat-bending, bolting, or grinding spare parts as necessary to satisfy the technical requirements and create a welded final product/li liWelding parts in various directions: flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead, etc./li liOperating other accessory equipment and performing some tasks necessary for welding metal, such as fusing metal segments, using gas tungsten arc, metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, and other types of welding arcs/li liControl the processes of fitting, burning and welding to avoid problems in relation to overheat, distortion, expansion or shrink of spare parts/li liPreparing and setting up necessary tools and equipment for welding job such as shielded metal arc, gas metal arc or other welding equipment/li liExamining finished products and parts and comparing them with samples to check whether the specifications are met/li liEnsuring that welded parts meet quality specs through use of tools such as square, caliper or ruler/li liIdentifying any issues or deficiencies related to the equipment or material; following the proper non-conformance reporting process/li /ul Skills Qualifications: liRead and interpret blueprints and electrical layouts/li liOperate welding equipment/li /ul Education Experience: liHigh school diploma or GED/li liWelding degree/certificate or minimum 2 yearrsquo;s welding experience/li /ul
