Maintenance Work Coordinator (Job Number: 205488W-01)
DuPont Midland is currently in search of a Maintenance Work Coordinator. The Work Coordinator has the primary responsibility for ensuring that maintenance work is carried out in a manner that is safe, efficient, and effective, and done in accordance with procedures and best practices. The Work Coordinator has the most critical role ensuring that every aspect of maintenance work is performed in the most efficient manner. The Work Coordinator insures that all work is executed through the Global Maintenance Work Process. The Work Coordinator must respond quickly to legitimate E-jobs, re-deploying resources as appropriate, yet minimizing the adverse impact to the schedule.
Assignjob resources and facilitate the morning work assignments
Reportthe progress of the daily work to enable adjustments to the daily work schedulewhen needed
Reviewsjob packages and prepares to do the task
Assistthe person doing the work in the identification whether the job can be carriedout. If the job cannot be carried out,redeploy resources in the most efficient manner
In casethat equipment is not prepared for maintenance reassign person doing the workto the next job
Activelyparticipates in the Scheduling process / backlog management activities
Initiatesthe work permit procedure.
Checkif all the work for the job is done including the paperwork. Close work order.
Reviewswork status with service providers and originator
Focalpoint for required Compliance tasks
A minimum of a High School diploma, G.E.D. orequivalent is required
A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience inmaintenance within a manufacturing, industrial, fabrication, aerial or relatedindustry is required
Previous experience in a maintenance role withinMichigan manufacturing operations is preferred
Experience in coordinating or leading teams performingmaintenance work in a manufacturing setting is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such asWord, Outlook, Excel etc. and have the ability to learn new systems quickly isrequired
Experience with SAP is also preferred
Excellent verbal and written communicationskills
A self-starter who can identify, prioritize, andaccomplish
Ability to collaborate, negotiate, andfacilitate decision making in high stress turnaround environment
Have strong multi-tasking, problem solving andtime management skills
Demonstrated leadership skills - inspire othersand lead them through influence
Must be willing and able to wear safetyequipment, such as: earplugs, goggles, and steel-toed shoes with or without anaccommodation is required
Must be willing and able to stand or walk forextended periods of time with or without an accommodation is required
This position is located in Midland, MI and mayrequire less than 5% of travel
A minimum requirement for this U.S. basedposition is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visasponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type ofU.S. permanent residency (green card) process
