span itemprop="description" class="jobdescription"Primary:ulliMove, handle and prepare bars for shipment or processing per department procedures./liliPossess and demonstrate ability to qualify and perform the sequential position(s) in the Finishing Area./liliMaintains housekeeping per checklist and as assigned/li/ulSecondary:ulliIn general this Job classification assists and performs the less technical functions and responsibilities performed by the Process Line Operator./li/ulTRAINING AND/OR BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:ulliCompletion of Finishing Floorman/Qualification Checklist/liliAcquire and maintain valid Lift Truck Operators permit./liliAcquire and maintain valid Remote Crane Operators Permit./li/ulQUALITY RELATED RESPONSIBILITIES:ulliKnows and understands the Quality Policy/liliAttends Quality Meetings/liliMaintains bundle identity/liliMaintains heat integrity/liliSegregation of defective product/liliCompletion of all related documentation/liliVisual inspection of product/liliVarious measuring inspections/liliCalibration checks of measuring devices/li/ulSAFETY RELATED RESPONSIBILITIES:ulliMaintain housekeeping in area/liliMaintain safe work environment/liliAttend safety meetings/liliReport/repair any unsafe condition or equipment/liliObserve and follow all departmental safety rules and regulations (including Cardinal Safety Rules)./li/ulCOST/PRODUCTION RELATED RESPONSIBILITIES:ulliProper handling, storage, retrieval and inspection of finished product./liliMaintain housekeeping/liliMaintain storage areas/liliClean-up or assist in clean-up of material spills/li/ulENVIRONMENTAL RELATED RESPONSIBILITIES:ulliEmployee is expected to know, understand, and follow all applicable Federal, State, and Local environmental legal requirements and practices./liliResponsible for and completing all required annual safety and environmental training (inc. fugitive dust and torch cutting)./liliResponsible for spill prevention, containment, response and clean up or assist in clean up of material spills./li/ulNote: The information listed in this description reflects the general details considered necessary to perform the principal functions of the job identified.
