Our facilities include Port City Castings Corp., Muskegon Castings Corp., Port City Metal Products, Port City Die Cast, Port City Custom Plastics, Alloy Resource Corp, and Mirror Image Tool.Advanced CNC Technician will be responsible for production parts processing and will need advanced CNC skills such as:•Must be capable of understanding of complex CNC Programs using 4th and 5th axis moves.•Capable of setups in vertical and horizontal mills.•Knowledgeable in Datum structures of parts/ fixtures and hydraulic clamping.•Must be able to read blueprints geared at automotive parts.•Must be able to review and interpolate layout data from CMM to real parts, use and adjust as required.•Must know GDT of prints.•Must know SPC data collection and how to apply.•Must be able to use lab measuring equipment for setup and validation of production.•Must have excellent attendance.Please note that the duties and requirements described herein are intended to represent general contents of this job.
