Ensure that processes needed for the QMS are established, implemented and maintained
Report the performance of the QMS timely to CWC leadership
Organize job assignment for department's quality functions
Ensure that for all employees all HR development requirements and activities are in place and gaps closed
Ensure that Customer's and Kautex' requirements are addressed and satisfied
Manage quality-related issues with customers and suppliers
Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws, government regulations and internal guidelines
Ensure the implementation of adequate preventive and evaluation tools, e.g.: Product inspection and testing, FMEA, Poke Yoke, control plans, etc.
Manage Non-Conforming Products and control the “Quarantine” area
Manage control of internal/external quality-related documents and records
Ensure that all specific issues regarding quality are implemented and observed in line with IATF standards
Manage quality-related issues coming from customer quality alerts
Promote awareness of the importance of the key quality-related jobs
Ensure knowledge about and compliance with Customer Specific Requirements throughout your team and if necessary define training measures
Train employees on work instructions, procedures, etc.
Utilization of mini-tab, excel and SPC programs to analyze data
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or comparable education preferred
Certified Quality Representative national authority (e.g. DGQ) a plus
Certified Lead Auditor of IATF/TS 16949 by KAUTEX or external body a plus
Six (6) years professional experience in automotive industry is preferable
Minimum of five (5) years experience in quality or process related position required
Experience in negotiation with customers and suppliers
Knowledge in statistics, FMEA, Control Plan APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, DOE and product and process capability
Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and business systems, e.g.: 5S, standardized work, Kanban, visual management
Knowledge of mini-tab and excel programsQUALITY
