emSUPERVISOR/emSUMMARY:Supervises and coordinates processing operations by coordinating people, materials, and equipment scheduled for production. Resolves problems that arise with production processes and operations. Must be available to work all shifts as needed.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following(Performs other assignments or duties as required.)olliEnsures efficient process operation by observing production line and tracking production numbers and figures./liliPlans for pending production by ensuring materials are in stock and available, taking inventory, and reviewing schedules./liliEnsures employee safety by checking safety equipment, ensuring proper usage, and training employees with safety policies and procedures./liliMaintains staff and ensures results by training employees of processes and procedures, completing performance appraisals, disciplining when necessary, assigning work, and checking work for accuracy and completeness./liliContributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Contributes to the company effort by continually looking for ways to improve productivity and customer orientation within department by use of better technology, procedures, and use of resources./liliMaintains professional and technical knowledge/skills by using the performance appraisal system to access personal strengths and development needs to accomplish the strategic goals of the organization./li/olJOB REQUIREMENTS: Requirements listed represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability, mentalhysical demands and work environments required to perform the essential job functionsEssential knowledge, skills, abilities, and experiences:ulliTwo years minimum supervisory experience./liliKnowledge of logistics and management/liliKnowledge of office procedures, methods and computers including spreadsheet applications./liliAbility to write reports and correspondence./liliAbility to communicate in English and understand information one-on-one and in small groups.
