Essential Duties and Responsibilities1. Provide technical support to SEL staff & customers.2. Develop and maintain knowledge in SEL processes and technologies.3. Perform testing on new and existing technology.4. Document and communicate test results.5. Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.6. Understand. Create. Simplify.7. Other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications

Two to three years undergraduate studies in electrical engineering

Ability to work part time during the school year and full time during the summer.Experience in programming

Working knowledge of modern test equipment, digital oscilloscope

Practical knowledge of power system protectionPractical knowledge of 3-phase power systemsAbility to use MS Windows and serial port terminal emulation softwarePractical knowledge of SEL protective relays & automation controllersAbility to use Microsoft OfficeStrong writing, documentation, and speaking skillsAbility to learn new skills and assume new responsibilitiesAbility to work cooperatively in a team environmentBackground check results satisfactory to SELNegative drug test result(s)Preferred QualificationsNonePhysical RequirementsNone
