Aerotek Machine Operator - 1st And 2nd Shift - Lots Of OT! in PLYMOUTH, Michigan

Description:

We are looking for someone to assist with the daily operation of producing parts. Candidates will be assigned a specific machine that could be a wire former, weld cell or metal stamping press. Candidates will be responsible for, but not limited to the following job duties:

  • Placing a wire metal part on the machine

  • Pressing a button on each side of the machine at once (for safety reasons) to stamp the part into the specific shape/tolerance requested by the customer.

  • Putting wire into a machine, pushing a button and inspecting the finished wire to locate any defects in the forming.

  • Placing a metal part into a weld cell, pushing a button and checking the weld for defects.

Shift:

1st Shift =5:00 am - 1:30 pm

Monday - Friday

2nd Shift; 2pm - 10:30 pm

Monday - Friday

All candidates will be cross trained on the fabrication machines and the assembly machines so they are able to move around based on production needs.
