Our culture fosters creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning to position our team members to inspire each other and provide quality products and supporting services that exceed the expectations of our customers.span style="text-decoration: underline;"The Opportunity/spanWilliams International has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical/ MechanicalAssemblySpecialist.This Team Member will report to the Team Leader, Manufacturing and is responsible for the assembly and testing of electrical assemblies for gas turbine engines.Additionally, the Electrical/ MechanicalAssemblySpecialist will:ulliFabricate electrical and/or mechanical assemblies/liliFollow manufacturing planning for instructions and inspection requirements./liliPerform wire cutting, stripping, dressing ends and other simple cable operations/liliSolder wires and other electronic components/liliPerform assembly operations or inspection under microscope or other magnifying device as required/liliPerform intermediate assembly tasks, such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, arbor pressing/liliAssemble bearings, pistons, O-rings, seals, springs etc. into machined housings/liliVerify dimensions and or performance using standard measuring instruments/li/ulspan style="text-decoration: underline;"Qualifications/spanulliHigh school diploma or equivalent/liliAbility to read and understand manufacturing planning instructions/liliElectrical or mechanical aptitude and interest/lili0-3 yearsrsquo; experience in bench level assembly or part processing experience/liliAbility to read and assemble parts from manufacturing planning instructions/liliAbility to perform detailed work requiring fine motor skills/liliCapable of lifting 50 pounds from floor to height of 25 inches, capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, have a grip strength of at least 50 pounds and be able to reach above shoulder 65 inches above floor level (minimum)./liliResponsible for and accountable for product safety and the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Companyrsquo;s Quality Policy/lili style="list-style-type: none;"/liliUS Citizenship required/liliPosition requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
