Job Description

Role Summary:

This role is a “cross-functional” team role. Assisting Product Engineering, PPO Operations, GPS Lab Operations managing material movement, POU (Point of Use), RTS (Return to Stock) and other miscellaneous support functions within ERP, additionally looking for continuous improvement opportunities. Gathers and sorts material to Kit BOM requirements. Work involves high degree of accuracy and ability to make decisions within the limits of general policies and procedures. Independent judgment is used with supervision available to handle unusual situations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Leads POU activities within the Pontiac Labs and PPO Build areas.

  • Supports material kitting needs to support Lab/Pallet build process.

  • Frequent contact with stakeholders outside the work group.

  • Must be proactive to follow-up on supplied information, for clarification / missing inputs.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 1-5 years in the business environment.

  • High level of analytical ability, communication and interpersonal skills required to build relationships with team members and customers to solve problems and resolve issues.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage, multiple projects and assignments with a high level of autonomy and accountability for results.

  • Good focus on the main priorities / outputs to get assignments completed on time.

  • Ability to handle projects / people/ situations that are complex in nature.

  • Working knowledge of CSTS, EMS and related processes for material support and test cell activity.

  • Proficient in Excel, and other MS tools inclusive of Word and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to have flexible work hours.

Preferred Skills and Experience :

  • Working knowledge of Sharepoint, Tali, OLDB (Online Data Book) and GPS Lab processes.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/engineering related curriculum. (preferred)
