The MAT2 program includes college tuition paid by Williams International leading to an associate’s degree from one of the participating colleges. It also includes paid on-the-job training, a stipend, and a full-time job upon successful completion of the program.
The MAT2 program lasts three years and is a combination of on-the-job training at our facility (Pontiac or Walled Lake) along with school work at one of the colleges in the area. Afterwards, the trainee commits two years working as a full time employee for our organization.
If selected for the program, trainees apply for admission at one of the participating colleges.
CNC Machining Trainees – Henry Ford Community College
- High School Diploma or GED
- Good basic math and computer skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions are also required
- Experience in areas requiring mechanical aptitude is desired
- Lathe, mill or fabrication experience is a plus
U.S. Citizenship is required.
