What you will do -
As an Associate Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategic sourcing activities in your commodities, with the goal of obtaining the best quality, service, and value for products and services through effective bidding, negotiation, and supplier management.
In addition, you will:
Develop and implement strategies and projects related to cost reduction initiatives, new product development, supply base optimization and rationalization, quality improvements, risk assessments, and contract negotiations
Create, negotiate, monitor, and enforce contract strategies for suppliers and drive implementation of supplier strategy, which will include spend/supply assessments, consolidation strategy, sourcing selection, financial and make versus buy analyses
Build strong, effective partnerships with internal teams and suppliers that will enable you to solve problems through a consultative approach, ensuring reliability and quality in our products
Contribute to continuous product and process improvement in line with producing industry leading product innovations
What you need
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required; degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or other relevant area of study is preferred
6+ years of experience in supply management or related field with focus on strategic sourcing, procurement or supplier development required; project management experience and/or PMP certification is a plus
Medical device or other highly regulated industry experience (e.g.: aerospace, automotive or similar) -preferred
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence across various levels of an organization; must be able to diplomatically persuade others and effectively drive change
Work From Home: Occasional
Travel Percentage: 10%
