Responsibilities and Requirements of the role:

  • Achieving production, quality, cost, and delivery goals

  • Planning resources necessary for optimal VS operating (i.e. personnel, AOP, fixed assets)

  • Promoting QR6S, Six Sigma and Lean at the site

  • Implementation and accountability for local and global WABCO initiatives

  • Responsibility (plan, achieve and control) for budget, production volume, CCP, NMP projects and accountability for Material Productivity and other KPI’s

  • Ensuring compliance with the requirements of the manufacturing process specifications and standards as well as specific customer requirements

  • Ensuring timely execution of corrective actions to eliminate nonconformity and its cause

  • Providing a safe, productive environment for employee engagement and motivation while respecting and ensuring compliance to all labor legislation and regulations

  • Managing proper HRM processes in teams, i.e. assessment, development and training of employees and the implementation of WABCO culture

  • Recommending individual decisions regarding salaries and benefits in accordance with internal policies

  • Ensuring company confidentiality in scope of technological, product, HR and financial issues

  • Proper management protection and preservation of assigned assets, tools, components, and processes in the supply chain

  • Is responsible for the functioning of the site cost centers and planned budget
