span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"Position Type: Contract to Direct Potential Shift: 1:00pm to 11:30pm (Tuesday to Saturday OR Sunday to Thursday) Job Summary: Changing over inserts as required in molds to produce different products, this can be minor changes to major ones that require all inserts to change. Manufacture new or replacement details and fit into tooling if required. This position may also require setting the mold in the press as while as repairing or troubleshooting them in the molding machine. Job Responsibilities:/span lispan style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"Changing components of family molds to facilitate the production of different products./span/li lispan style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"Repairing, cleaning, and inspection of molds./span/li lispan style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"Lubricate and maintain internal and external components of tooling./span/li lispan style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"Proper use of Bridgeport, lathe, grinder, and other machinery./span/li lispan style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"Operate overhead cranes and lift trucks to transport and move dies and molds./span/li lispan style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"Proper use of various hand tools, power tools, lifts, gages, etc. in the repair and maintenance of tools./span/li lispan style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"Maintain the tool room to provide a safe and hazard free environment./span/li lispan style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"Comply with all Westlake Employee Conduct and Work Rules/span/li lispan style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"Comply with all policies contained in the Employee Handbook./span/li lispan style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"Perform all other duties as assigned./span/li /ul span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"Job Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
